New Moon in Sagittarius: Fast Track Your Future

Things have been moving very quickly. The end of 2023 is quickly approaching. We need to be careful not to get ahead of ourselves as our focus naturally shifts to manifesting what is next. This moon cycle holds our last, crucial opportunities for refinement before moving into 2024.

Today’s New Moon in Sagittarius is ideal for setting intentions with the future in mind with its conjunction to Mars. All this fiery, action-oriented energy infuses us as we think about what we still need to accomplish before the year is over in order to set the stage for 2024. However, other aspects at play ask us to take another look before we move forward.

Sagittarius ruler, Jupiter, is in opposition to Venus in Scorpio and trine Mercury in Capricorn. Mercury is also stationing to go retrograde during this time. We are being asked to reconsider our innermost values to make sure what we want to manifest is in line with them. The addition of the Retrograde may challenge us to take one last look at how our self-discipline and commitments to ourselves and others reflect this before we move ahead.

With the square to Neptune this New Moon provides the perfect opportunity to challenge the illusions we tell ourselves that hold us back. This may sound intense for this joyous time of the year but it is absolutely crucial if we wish to level up. We cannot be above calling ourselves out no matter the season. This is the kind of self-awareness necessary to hold ourselves accountable and plant seeds that will bear fruit.

Trine North Node in Aries and sextile the South Node in Libra this moon brings awareness to the delicate balance between our personal power and how we maintain autonomy in our romantic relationships/partnerships. A theme we’ve been working on since the nodal axis moved into Aries/Libra earlier this year. With a quincunx to Uranus in Taurus some surprises could also be just around the corner. It won’t hurt to prepare for the unexpected.

This is a time to refocus on things that move us from our inner core. We can be inspired by our inner truth and evolve with truth seeking Sagittarius energy.
